[Video] Future Concept by Corning

I really love the concepts in this video. I suspect we’ll see a lot of them within 5-10 years. Certainly I expect the core ideas to feature prominently in by sons’ lives. However although this video is a great advertising platform by Corning, telling us that they are a forward-thinking and progressive company, I’m wondering whether they will be the ones that bring these technologies to us.

This video reminds me alot of the campaign by AT&T. They predicted everything from the iPad, to GPS navigation, to video calls home to check on the kids, to ERP toll paying. And they did it in the early nineties. In fact the only thing they really got wrong was that it would be them that would bring all these technologies to us. Both campaigns are still great concepts.

Kudos to Corning for letting me feel like the future is just around the corner.
