American Idol goes to Habbo

Fremantle Media have announced a partnership deal to bring the American Idol brand to the virtual world, Habbo (formerly Habbo Hotel). The deal will involve merchandise and sponsorship rights and coincides with the eight season of American Idol.

  • Makes sense to bring it into a virtual format online. I’m sure that there are enough people online who would have an interest in something like that (consider singing online, anonymously, through a virtual body but with your real voice. Why not?)
